Question about running post-partum and bleeding

I've been walking regularly but I decided to pick up running again and train for a 5k (that's how I lost the weight after DD1 so I thought I would give it another go) but after my first time running, which was last night, I had a little bit of bleeding. I didn't run very far (1.5 miles) and I didn't run very fast - in fact, I ran as slow as you could possibly run. But, I'm thinking now I should probably take it easy a little longer and go back to walking. I'm four months post partum so I thought a bit more exercise would be ok. Does anyone have any advice or experience that they can share?

How long has it been since you gave birth? I would suggest resting if you bled. I would take it really easy and ease into it.
