Multiquote Question

Thread Starter

It used to be that when multiquoting you clicked on the replies you wanted to quote as you went through the thread, then clicked "Reply" at the end and all the posts appeared in your reply box. Now you have to click "Quote" to get the multiquoted posts to appear in the reply box -- if you click "Reply," the reply box is empty.

Lots of times, though, I don't want to quote anything on the last page, so I have to either go to a previous page and click "Quote" on one of the posts I want to multiquote, or click "Quote" on some random post from the last page and then remember to delete it from my reply box. Cumbersome.

Yes, it's definitely different from before. It took me about two weeks to break the habit of clicking Reply when multiquoting so I definitely understand. I'll ask the software folks if this is intentional or something that can be changed down the road. I think they're planning some enhancements to the multiquote feature, so I'll see what I can find out. Thanks for bringing it up!

you can also just hit [Full Page Editor] on the right above where the text box at the bottom is, it takes you to a new page and all your multi quotes are there.

Oh, fun, thanks for pointing that out!
