We moved here a few months back and don't have a doctor or anyone to go to in case of illness. Back in Texas, there were clinics everywhere that you could go get basic care, but apparently that does not exist here? I just picked my daughter up from school and apparently one of her best friends has strep throat. Fantastic...especially since we all got it on Christmas Eve last year!! I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of a doctor we could all go see if need be. I don't vax and I'm 14 weeks pregnant. We are around the Menlo Park/Palo Alto/Redwood City area, but are willing to drive. Thanks!
ETA: I'm really confused about medical care here in California. Where do you go for basic care? Do you have a primary doctor or do you have to have one for you and another for your kids? I'm also really not understanding the complete lack of clinics here. We literally had one in five minutes every direction where your wait would be a maximum of 15 minutes. There were PAs attending, who could write scrips and stuff. That just simply doesn't exist here??
