Resolved: Banning and borking

Anybody mind cluing me in on what this all means?  Under lots of people's pictures, there are references to banning and borking, with lots of different variations.  Google told me that Bork! was a Swedish chef thing, but other than that...thanks!

It's leftover user titles from April Fools Day. The staff typically does something strange? fun? each year for April 1st. This past year the software translated posts into Swedish Chef-speak which is why the Bork! is there. One year, we had the software set up so that a member could select any member on the forum to ban for the day, but in actuality the software temporarily banned the person doing the banning. That's partly where the banning comes in. So, the banning and borking is just leftover from April Fools. It's nothing too exciting. Some people like to keep their titles, but if anyone wishes to have them removed, they can email administrator@mothering.com.

I've been wondering this same thing!

I have been unable to find where I add a title to my profile. Where can I do that?

Hi! User titles are reserved for senior members and Supporters and Advertisers. Once a member has reached 1,000 posts, they are considered senior members and are eligible to email administrator@mothering.com for a complimentary title.
