Cycle/Rhythm of the Year/Liturgical Calendar Mashup?

I'm intrigued by the Wheel of the Year and of the idea of presenting the Calendar in a circle format.  I like especially that it roots the months within the seasons and gives a sense for more than just a day or number.  I'd like something that's less linear than the traditional calendar.

...but I'm not Pagan and I'd like to find a way that I can do it within the Liturgical year (though including things like the solstices and equinoxes) and do so in a way that's respectful to others....if that makes sense.

I'd like to come up with something that we could make at home and that would be attractive enough to laminate and display on the wall.  Has anyone made something like this?  Suggestions on how to get started?

Our Advent Spiral has been such a special way to connect our days to something a bit bigger and I'd like to be able to continue this with the kids as a spiritual practice.
