School therapists holiday gifts

I'm putting this here because it's directly related to special needs services.

My son gets Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, & Physical Therapy at school.  I really can't afford gifts for them but I'd feel a bit cheap if I only gave them a card for the holiday.  I thought about gift cards to Starbucks but would a $5 gift card be insulting?

Also, we've been working closely with a private Education Advocate and a Clinical Neuro Pysch for IEP meetings and school mediation.  Both of them get paid VERY well so I'm wondering if I should get them a gift card/gift, too.

Opinions?  Ideas?

Hey $5  is 2 free large cups of Starbucks so I don't think that is too cheap at all! I would not think you needed to get the neuropsych or the advocate anything however I am sure a card and a thank you would be appreciated.

This year we made homemade treats together for his OT, his reading specialist, his 2 key teachers and the school nurse. Tied to each treat bag were homemade book marks. You could take the $15 you would spend in gift cards on supplies and make cookies/candy/treats instead. It would go a lot farther and could be given to others on your list.

I work in an ASD program and the parents often give all the members of their child's team small gifts.  A $5 Starbucks card would be well appreciated.  If you don't want to spend money a handwritten note expressing your thanks (and if you can throw in the child writing or dictating some of it, all the better!) goes a long way!

I wish I could but I'm having trouble with my oven.  It won't be fixed/replaced in time.

Ugh, that's too bad!! Then go easy on yourself and go with gc if you can swing it, nice cards/ thank you's if you can't!

Problem solved (except for the Advocate and Neuro Psych).

I see it's resolved but if I got a $5 GC for Starbucks, I'd be happy, too. That's two lattes.
