Baby 1: 3.5 hrs pushing, 9lbs 15oz (then csection)
Baby 2: 2.5 hrs pushing, 8lbs 12oz (hbac, broken tailbone)
Baby 3: 2+ hrs pushing, 10lbs (hbac, broken tailbone again but easy recovery from it)
So, big babies, petite mom with a total pancake butt (pelvis is probably narrow from front to back, just my opinion) with trouble getting baby under tailbone each time, and a broken tailbone each time.
I've got no problem with the tailbone popping. It's never caused a real problem. I just would really like to have a 2nd stage that is less damn work!
Last birth I was in transition before I realized active labor had begun! Then I had to push for so long.
Any hope for a short second stage this time??
Give it to me straight...I can take it!!
