What got your baby in the best position for your VBAC/HBAC?

DS was a frank breech and against my own desires and intuition and went ahead a scheduled the section at 38weeks.  Now pg with no 2 and researching, visualizing and working on getting this one in the optimal position for birth (am about 14 weeks now).  If your first was breech or transverse, how did you get your next baby into the best position?  What do you feel helped the most?

check out spinningbabies.com, Webster technique chiropractic, and wait until labor starts before making any decisions about labor or csec.  Babies can flip, even during labor.  You might or might not have another breech baby--so you might start now looking for providers who are skilled in vag breech birth.

good luck!

My first was not breech, but my VBAC baby (#3) turned breech 2x after 33 weeks!  I second the recommendation for Webster certified chiro, and I would add some body work to it.  My LMT is also a birth professional, so she did some really great pelvic release stuff weekly after we found the not-so-little guy breech late in the game.  I will be preparing for any eventual pregnancy with chiro and massage because I know there is something about my body that keeps babies from settling into a good position.

DS#2 was my breech one, and I couldn't get him to turn by any means before c/s at 40+4. When I was pregnant with DS#3, I had chiropractic care (including Webster) the whole time and did some positioning from Spinning Babies. The stinker still ended up ROT and asynclitic, but I had a VBAC without much difficulty other than seemingly more painful crowning and a few tears that healed really quickly. I think Webster helped my comfort and got DS#3 to drop and engage, since he was the only one who did that before labor out of my three.

Accupunture (Moxibustion) is awesome for turning a baby.

Understand that breech birth is a variation of normal like a baby being born face up or with a nucal hand.
