Hey! My name is Rachel, and I'm new to the Mothering Community. I recently found out that I'm pregnant with my first child! (due in August)

My husband's name is Red and he's a photographer. We'd been trying for about 4 months before we conceived (on Nov. 25th... Happy Thanksgiving! 
). He has an 11-year-old daughter named Brooklynn who lives with us full time, and who I consider my own flesh and blood.

We are all REALLY excited, and I'm very happy to have found this online community! Haven't announced my pregnancy to the public yet, but I'm planning to spill the beans on my blog (mrsnewspin.tumblr.com) on Christmas Eve
