Help me ease my concerns

Okay so I have had two hospital births that were pretty easy. I torn really baldy with my first, and very minor with my second. i'm worried abut tearing again. would i have to go to the hospital? i'm hoping with not having to birth on back back with my knees up that i wont tear. but i am really worried about having to transfer to the hospital just becasue of the general stigma for having to do the transfer.

I obivously worry about other things, but i don't know how much of my owrry is really listening to others fear mongering. I keep getting told the whole cord around the neck thing. my second was wrapped but didn't need any help breathing or anything he is fine. I know midwives are trained and really the hospital is maybe five minutes away.

I'm worried about labour going to fast. i had a ten hour from first contraction to baby in arms and a five hour from water breaking to baby in arms. i'm scared i'll start in transition.

I'm going to talk to my midwife this week at my appt about these thing I just need to talk to her and I think things will feel more relaxed after that.

My MW repaired my tears at both my homebirths. Have a conversation with your midwife about "what if baby comes too fast and you can't get here in time?". I had that conversation with my MW before my last birth. Talk to her about the cord issue, too, but I've heard it said that a cord around the neck is less likely to prolapse and most cords around the neck don't cause a problem.

Well i spoke with my midwife today and I really do feel better about alot of things. My midwife bring local anestitic and a steril sutur kits just in case in need stitches so she can stitch me up at home for 1st and 2nd degree tears.

It was really nice to sit down and talk with her about the things that were on my mind. the hospital here is really good with transfers, and they have never had a problem.  I'll have two midwives for the birth, and when labour starts one comes to my house and stays with me if i am in labour and the second comes once birth is showing to be soon so when the baby is born there will be two in attendance. They are both trained in neonatal resitation and carry oxygen and all that stuff. I know that they come prepared but i really feel more confirmed about their preparedness after speaking with her.

I'm feeling like this will be a good thing for our family. with much prayer and research I think this is going to happen
