What is a good price for Fiesta Ware? Or recommend a table setting that you love

If you have bought Fiesta Ware recently, can I ask what you paid? What is a good deal on fiesta ware?

We have correle right now, but I would like something a little more sturdy. (Or at least something that doesn't break into tiny little sharp shards.)

Or can you recommend a table setting that you love?

Keeping my eye out for a good deal.

Do you have a Belks? Around here they sometimes do a buy one get one so for about $45-50 you can get two place settings.

I've seen it at Kohl's for around $25.  I love Fiesta Ware.  We registered for it when we got married but have slowly been increasing our collection.  It's such a great product and it's union made in the USA!

I didn't realize it was made in the USA, now I really want to save for it.

Do you have all once color or do you mix and match?

I always assumed that fiesta ware would be much more breakable than correlle.

I just wanted to suggest looking on craigslit and the the like. you can find great deals, and then spend a bit more to fill out the set by the piece.

We got 4 colors at first (red, cobalt, white, purple).  My mom and MIL both collect and have been slowly giving us more, so we have more colors now (orange and light blue and yellow).  I know that their glassware and napkins aren't necessarily made in the US, but all of the Homer Laughlin Co stuff is.  Homer Laughlin makes the pottery stuff.

All of mine is from the factory and it's seconds.  My sister lives over there and about once a year she goes to the factory to buy a bunch of the seconds.  She always picks up bowls or plates for me while she is there.  I have all different colors.

I have purple and turquoise and they look so good together!  I have found that they hold up better than other brands of dishes.  I think Amazon sells them for about $25/setting.  My Mom bought me some from Kohls on sale but they only have the sets with the teacups.  Next time I get some I want to get the ones with the mugs.

After reading this thread, I bought myself some settings at Macy's for Christmas....well I did for dh. They were on sale for $24 a setting but then gave me an additional 25% off for using my Macy's card. We paid $19 a setting! I can't wait to move out the old chipped dishware!

I totally loved my fiesta ware.  Most of it has broken or chipped over the years, but it did hold up extremely well.  It really isn't in the budget anymore, but hopefully I will be able to get it again one of these days.  I recently bought an entire set of dishes at Target for around $25 and they actually remind me a bit of fiesta ware.  I chose a nice bright red color and it seems like pretty decent quality stoneware.  I must say that I really liked not only the colors of fiesta ware but also all of the sizes and shapes of the dishes.  They always seemed to be just the right size for whatever I needed.  And by mixing all of the colors together, I had such a fun and cheerful table.

dinnerwareusa.com has it for a good price.

I have 6 4-piece sets in scarlet, tangerine, sunflower, shamrock, turquoise, and persimmon. I also have a serving platter in tangerine, a large bowl (I use it for serving quacamole and other dips) in sunflower, and salt & pepper shakers in turquoise. Eventually I'd like to get some more 4-piece sets in lemongrass, dark purple, and cobalt.
