Can Braxton Hicks be Aggravated by Lack of Sleep?

This morning I woke up at 4:00 am feeling wide awake and could not get back to sleep, GRRR! Anyways, it is now 11:00pm and all evening my uterus has been feeling very tight for a fair bit of time. Is it possible that a lack of sleep aggravates Braxton Hicks? I'm too tired to feel worried about the tightening, and am leaning towards the idea that being overtired probably just messed up my body a bit for the day. Anyone know?

yup, that's been my experience.

well, the uterus is a muscle, so lack of sleep can definitely affect it. dehydration and lack of certain minerals can worsen braxton-hicks too.
