This is my first time posting in this forum. I just felt like venting in hopes that I could get some sympathy or suggestions...

I'm 20 weeks pregnant with #3. DD is 3.5, DS#1 is almost 2. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment, but we're going to be moving to a 4/2 house very soon. Our DC have toddler beds that they loathe. Seriously, they'd rather sleep on the couch... which is where they've been sleeping for the past couple months. One on the loveseat, one on the sofa, or both on the sofa. DD takes naps on my bed, DS on the sofa, and at night DS typically ends up with us in our queen size bed. On rare nights DD ends up there too, and then I'm miserable because my fat pregnant self can't get comfortable.

Last night was "one of those nights". You know, when you consider selling them to circus, or think "Is toddler too young for bording school?" (Not seriously, of course, I love my kids with all my heart.) DS went to bed on the loveseat around 9:30. DD started in our bed because we were watching a movie. She insisted on a cup of water, so we gave her like 1/3 of a sippy cup of water. She tossed and turned and eventually ended up in DH's arms wrestling with sleep. Around 11:15 we realized she had given up and fell asleep. We finished our movie, laid her down and went to bed around midnight. DS woke at 12:30 and came to our room. He tossed, turned, kicked, punched, sighed, snorted, coughed, pushed, for about an hour. Finally I caved and made him a bottle (sadly we both decided weaning was the best when he was 18 months and I was 4 weeks pregnant). He started to fall asleep around 2. DD woke around 4. She had wet her pants. All over the couch. So, I cleaned that up and got her calmed down and asleep on the loveseat. DS woke at 4:30. More tossing, turning, kicking, punching, pinching this time, and a leaky diaper. I changed his diaper, DH got a towel to put down (just a little leaked) and we refilled his bottle (a bad habit we're trying to break but it's so hard on these rough nights). He drank the bottle and kicked some more for about an hour. DH and I woke up to get him out the door 30 minutes later.

Mind you, I did get to sleep in until about 20 minutes ago, but still. It was a rough night. I forgot to mention that DS#2 (in utero) was bouncing all night and decided to keep something (not sure if he's turned head down yet, last week he was breech) lodged in my cervix, causing some nasty pain.

Anyway, that's my rant. Happy Tuesday to all you non-CIOers!!
