Adoption Ornaments

Do you have a special adoption ornament on your tree?

If so where did you find it?

We just have ornaments for each kid.  When Bean came, my mom gave the sweetest little black baby in a peapod.  :)

And this year she gave me a little AA angel that is so darling that reminds of of Lil Sis in Ethiopia.  None that specifically say adoption though.  Since we also have bios, adoption isn't a central issue in our family... celebrating each child is more important.  And each child's story it important to him or her.

I ended up making one, I pick it up next week and I hope it looks nice. I do have special ones for DS. I also got them a big brother and little sister ornament that each has their name.

Hallmark occasionally makes an adoption (or "forever family") holiday ornament.  If you can't find one there, try getting an artist on etsy to make a personalized one.  It's surprisingly affordable, and much more personal too. :)

We have two ornaments on our tree in memory of our children who were adopted' birth mothers. They each are specific to their birth mothers with information we know about them.
