if DTD makes you lose your mucus plug

even just a little bit at a time, keep doing it? Does this mean there is actually something going on for the cervix to be ripening, or am I just being overly optimistic? I'm 35 weeks so I'm guessing it'll be all right if I do lose the plug, I've noticed this happening every time we DTD, which hasn't been very often. I do have DH on board to GIO more in the last few weeks since it could be helpful for labor orngbiggrin.gif. I'm happy to have my body as ready as possible for labor when the baby says it's time.

Thoughts/similar experiences? please share, TYIA smile.gif

i have lost bits of my plug a little more than a week ago, but never in any relation to DTD, so i dont know, and like you since im 35 weeks and facing an induction need around 37, i'm being pretty liberal on anything that will help me start things

We DTD a lot especially now that I am in the home stretch. It is at least every other day and almost once a day and I have not seen any plug parts at all.

It's happened to me every single time since around the second trimester. Like 12 to 15 hours after I can count on it. Unfortunately since I am 34 weeks and have been having some pain and contractions for the last few weeks, DH doesn't think DTD is worth the risk. Maybe in a few weeks I can change his mind.

Thanks gals. Too bad we're still not frequent enough that the stuff has plenty of time to replenish anyway *sigh*

Hopefully it'll pick up soon, interesting to wonder how much it may actually be helping.
