Diaper Sprayer?

Is this a must? I watched a video on how to make my own but ugh! I am *not* a plumber! Looking at the various already made diaper sprayers they also require a good bit of assembly...

So...do I have to?

Do you get by without one? What do you do? If you love yours please try to sell me on the installation!

I never use one. When DD was a baby I hand-washed all of her diapers because we didn't have a washing machine, and her EBF poop came out so easily I didn't really care. When she got older and her poops started getting more solid, we had finally gotten a washing machine and all I had to do was plunk the solids into the toilet and throw the rest into the washing machine and it all came out. I think having a diaper sprayer is a personal preference, not a necessity. I've done without one for about 10 months now, and I don't really have plans to start using one anytime soon. ;)

I got one when DS was about a year old. I'll never go back! I used to have to clean out the washer after every load of dipes from all the bits and pieces that were too large to drain. Gross! Now it goes down the toilet and my washer is clean.

Installation only took about 10 minutes, and that includes finding scissors to open the pkg. It really is simple.

You dont need it until theyre eating a significant amount of solids though. Completely unnecessary for a NB. Until theyre eating solids, poo is liquid and it washes right out.

We use BumGenius sprayer and I love it.  LOVE IT.  It would probably be cheaper to make your own, but this came all in one set, was super easy to install and works great.

I find it useful even on NB poop.  The spray is super strong (you have to aim it well so you don't get poop backspray!). 

I had to recently rinse a diaper off without the sprayer by dipping in toilet and it was nasty, nasty.  Sprayer is so much nicer.
