Thanks all...we are so stumped and due tomorrow!

Last name is two syllables.

All are beautiful and unique names.  Personally I like Hazel.

Congrats on being this close to your due date!

I love the name Esme.  I asked DH and he chose Ember.

Thanks all...

Unfortunately Hazel is the one that we love the most but goes the poorest with our last name which also ends in "zel".

And suddenly DP hates Esme.

I think Ember and Silvia are topping our list right now.

I like Hazel, but would never do a first name that rhymes with a last name, so if it was my baby, that one would be out for me. I voted Siliva, because it seems pretty timeless and un-trendy to me. Good luck!

So... what did you decide?  smile.gif

i voted for esme, which just narrowly beat out hazel.

still undecided...still no baby!

but the poll really helped me to narrow it down a bit.

we decided for sure against hazel despite adoring the name...

esme and silvie are now top on our list...but we are looking at anais as well now.

thanks all.

LOVE Anais--and Esme-must be a French thing! lol

I love Nyah!  lol I'm a sucker for the unoriginal  :) But is it pronounced N-eye-uh  or N-ee-uh?  or both?!

I voted for Esme. That's my top name and DH hates it :( so I hope you get to use it! I love Anais too but DH pointed out how it sounds like the body part so that ruled it out. Hazel was a runner-up for DD2. We must have similar tastes!

 thought it was pronounced ahna-eese?

like Thais: tie-eese
