So we're starting dd (almost 10 months) real slow on solids. So far she's had avacado, broccoli, and tiny tiny amounts of green bean and peas. After the tiny amounts of green bean and peas...when she pooped it left pretty much a blister on either side of her butt hole, she had no other symptoms really. Cream did not help much and it took about a week to go away. I took that as she was reacting to either the beans or peas.
So I took a break from solids, and she was just on breast milk. We tried again recently, first avacado, butt hole was not red after she pooped. And now we tried broccoli this week and yesterday would be the 4th day since trying it and today she pooped and now her butt hole and every where the poop was touching is red. But not like the blister type I had seen before.
So my question IS....is there a reaction seen ie red ring around the anus, only after the baby has pooped or this will show up anytime before the baby has pooped. Confused about this one. And since starting solids her poop has become really pasty and firmish, but she will just poop a little at a time. It drives me crazy. Just poop it all out please. (sorry for that)
