Renagade Fuzzibunz Elastic

So I was adjusting my elastic in the back area of one of my Fuzzibunz and it got pulled through so that I no longer can access the end of it. I've tried a knitting needle to try to fish it out, but no luck.  Also, can't find any hints on the website. Before I rip the seems anyone have any cleaver ideas for me? Thanks!

Was it a FB OS? I would think that if you have a crochet needle (because knitting needles don't have a little hook on the end, right?) you could somehow snag it through one of the button holes and pull it out. If you don't have one, maybe a paper clip bent into a little hook would work?

It is a FB OS.  Good idea with the crochet hook! I'll give it a try.
