where? where? where? where?

i have heard of the "why?" stage but never the "where?" stage.  dd is 2.5.  all she asks all day long is where?

where is mimi?  where is mimi's work?  where is so-and-so's car?  where is their house?  you get the picture.  

it's just seems so odd!  maybe it's a normal phase or maybe dd is just weird:)  has anybody else gone through this?  is why coming next??

My 33 mo old DS is in the "why?" stage, but for him that also includes asking "where?" and "how?" about everything.
