I'm the new mom of my 4 1/2 week old DD Talson (homebirth) and I've just recently discovered this forum while looking for moral support during nighttime feedings. I love this forum - I've found it so inspiring to hear other people's struggles and solutions and it has helped me tremendously through rough patches.

I live in Calgary, Canada and am a passionate learner of all things related to children and how to best guide them through life. I co-sleep, breastfeed on demand, wear my baby almost all the time and practice natural infant hygiene (EC). I'm constantly educating myself on the best parenting practices and am trying to live one day at a time and enjoy the journey! I wake up everyday amazed at how my life is so much different (and fuller!) since her arrival and can't believe how intense mothering really is. I'm one of those who thought they knew a lot only to realize I still have so much to discover.
