max height when britax advocate and boulevard are RF?

we're looking at buying one of these two car seats.  i knew to look for a seat that was RF with a high weight limit, but am now learning that it's important to get one that's tall as well.  does anyone know if these seats are very tall?  my kid is 60th percentile for height but 30th for weight, and i want to keep him RF for as long as possible.

thanks!

I believe that both the advocate and the BLVD have the same shell height. They are not the tallest but aren't the shortest. The Radian,True Fit and Complete Air are the tallest shells out right now I think...it actually doesn't depend as much on the seats listed limits as where you child comes in relation to the top of the shell. So a long legged short torso kido might make it a lot longer than a long torso short legged kido.redface.gif

None of the Britax convertibles are very tall unfortunately.  In the recent redesign they actually made them shorter.  They are among the shortest of the 40lb RF seats.  The Complete Air or the Radian would last longer (RF and FF) for a taller/thinner child.  The TrueFit might even last longer RF (and would last longer FF) for kids who are tall, but it has a 35lb RF weight limit.  My 32lb, 37" 2.5yo daughter has reached the height limit for the Britax seats but has room to grow (height-wise, at least) in her TrueFit.   We're going to get her a Complete Air and pass the TrueFit down to her brother soon so she can stay RF for a bit longer.
