Best UC books? - Page 2

I liked Laura Shanley's book, Greismer's book, Elizabeth Davis' book "Heart and Hands" for more hands on ways to help yourself(just in case). I also read Functions of the Orgasms by Odent. The Power of Women by Sister Morningstar.

If I think of any more I'll let you know:) I loved them all:)

I'm getting Shanley's and Griesemer's book. I love Shanley's site and I read a bunch of input out there from Griesemer that seemed spot-on to me, although I've heard her book has conservative undertones and even anti-homosexual rhetoric. Because I haven't read it for myself, I'm still going to get it and try and judge it for myself. So much of what she has said has been accurate so I am forced to try and give her the benefit of the doubt.

Odent seems like an amazing resource. I'm going to get his Birth and Breastfeeding book, and I imagine I will like his work very much from what I have so far researched and read. If so, I will probably look into his other works, including the ones relating to sexuality, primarily because I think this is a fascinating man who should be paid proper attention.

So far, I have read Shanley's book and The Power of Pleasurable Childbirth by Laurie Morgan. I loved them both.

Legatia-- good choices! I am reading and loving both of those right now. I'm particularly getting a lot of enjoyment from The Power of Pleasurable Childbirth. It's amazing how sometimes these authors echo exactly what I am thinking and feeling, and so empowering and not-lonely to realize these things.

I think the feeling and the language used in Morgan's book are a great place for people to go to who are exploring UC, and for those who maybe don't understand UC-- I think it sort of explains very easily why UC would be desirable and sensible. At least, for me. :)

Thanks for all of your suggestions! They all sound like good books, and I do own a few myself, but I can't wait to expand my library on pregnancy and birth!
