Fairies -- need ideas

Thread Starter

Ok, so a friend's dd is turning 6 in about 7 weeks.  She loves fairies.  General fairies-- not disney fairies.  Anyways, I like making stuff for this family because they really appreciate it when the present isn't just bought and wrapped.

I have thought of making a kit for the child that would be a project for her.  But, I am at a loss what to include.

Any other type of idea would be great too.  I am just at a loss right now for imagination.

Make wearable Fairy Wings!

On the cheap DIY side you can make them out of bent hangers and some pantyhose! (spray paint and glitter optional!)

You an also make them out of painted cardboard which she can paint, glitter, and decorate herself.

theres a ton of diy directions on the web if you look
