Okay so I HATE my prefolds. They seemed pretty great until I had a wiggly baby who insists on pulling his knees into his chest during diaper changes and screaming whenever I pull them away. I end up with an okay fold (not a great one), a crooked snappi, and a baby who screams his head off until he nurses again. I however don't have any problems with our BumGenius 4.0s, other than only owning 2 of them. I definitely can't afford to go out and buy a whole new stash right now though! Are there any similar alternatives? Diapers that work just as well and just as easy for cheaper?

There's a co-op going on right now at The Squirmie Worm, http://thesquirmieworm.com/forums/index.php for Sunbaby Diapers, http://www.sunbabydiapers.com/. I haven't used them but they are one-size and are only $4.30 a piece with an insert plus $1.75 co-op (and then shipping later, which you'd probably pay anyway).

I use similar diaps - different brand but look the same, cheap, made in China, one size - and they are AWESOME. No leaks, wash well, fit my tall lean baby, and we've used them for over 6 months now. HTH

I don't like to do laundry every day so I make sure I have 36-48 diapers. A dozen per day means laundry every 3 days, which I can handle. I've read you can get by with only a dozen if you don't mind washing them every day. They're going to have 2 more co-ops in a few months so you can pick up more.
