want to move talk me down or agree!

We JUST moved in 3 months ago. The apartment is nice. It's small but I can totally deal with that.

I feel really uncomfortable about the people who run the apartments. Our real land lord is some big shot realtor and i don't even know his name. They hire this smaller realtor to "manage" the place.

The rules are ridiculous. (which we found out 2 secs before we signed the paper. Its month to month renting btw.)

you can't have ANYTHING outside. No toys, chairs, swing...nothing. We don't even have a yard...just concrete...

If a window breaks you have to replace it

If an appliance breaks "by you're fault" you have to pay for the repair.

I mean it's a nice place and it's really cheap but the rental market is going down and we could get a nice place with a yard and without impersonal bogus rules for like $25 more.

moving again would really suck though. We took this place b/c it is nice and cheap and we really needed to move from the city big time, when we found out the rules I didn't want the place but it was 15 days after we already gave notice at our current place and DH said we should just do it b/c its month to month anyways.

We downsized some more and we only have one car now too. I can never go anywhere and we don't even have a yard to play in...I know it's winter right now but still

we would have to live here (this area) for at least 2 years...its about an hour away from family and friends so that stinks too.

I keep having dreams about these realtors being evil lol it is so strange.

So what do you think?

I would stay put and rethink things in March or April.

The lack of yard is the only real drawback I see.

The window and appliance rules sound reasonable to me, assuming you are the reason they broke.

You say you needed to get out of the city, but are now complaining about being a one car family.  This is not a housing issues, entirely.  You need to decide whether you want to live on a bus route or in a neighbourhood with lots of stuff within walking distance, or get a second car.  I do not think being stuck in the boonies without a car is a viable long term option for most people. Some people do it but I would not want to.

Is buying an option?  Your list of concerns makes me think you really just do not want a landlord.  Nothing wrong with that - I do not want a landlord either!-  buying has been one of the best things I have ever done.  It is nice to be in charge of your own space.

well, it cant hurt to look at and look for other places, since you are renting month to month. then if you do find a place you relaly like, give appropriate notice and go. If you don't, then stay put. But it can't hurt to look aroun- y'know? Location is important- could you find a plce where you don't need a car and can still get out- closer to a twon with things to do?
