Emergency Situations During UC

Has anyone ever experienced emergency situations during the birth?  I'm wondering about cord prolapse?  Has this happened to any UCers, and what did you do?

Any other situations that seemed "life threatening" (other than hemorrhage,cord around the neck,shoulder dystocia, and breech)? How did you react/handle the situation?

As a doula I wouldn't be attending a UC because if I was then it wouldn't be a UC anymore (at least that is my opinion).  You might be better off asking that question on this board http://www.mothering.com/community/forum/list/306

lol I didn't realize I was on Birth Professionals... multi-tasking is not one of my strong points...thought I was on the UC board!  Thanks for pointing that out  smile.gif  lol
