I take my DD to Dr. Pierce at Pediatric Associates on Postal Drive and I'm happy with him. We selectively vax and besides the initial conversation in which we discussed my vax plans but he never pressured me to give any vaxes I didn't want to, he doesn't do anything more than make sure I want to stick to the initial schedule that I gave him and let me know if there has been anything added to the schedule that I need to research. There are a couple highly recommended pedi's there, but I can't remember the names of the other ones. I was happy that the 1 time I took her in for a sick appointment the dr we saw was clear that he did not want to give antibiotics because they weren't clearly warranted when many dr's would have pushed them "just in case" because of her bloodwork. She ended up not needing them and getting better on her own and I appreciated not being pressured to medicate when it was unnecessary.
As for a pedi dentist, my understanding is they are hard to come by here. What I can tell you is to avoid Small Smiles like the plague. My daughter hasn't been to a dentist yet, although I really need to start thinking about it. She had her teeth checked at a free dental clinic, though, and they looked great, so I'm putting it off. Let me know if you find anyone good! She was a late teether and at 21 months only has 7 teeth, so I'm not stressing about it too much, yet.
