I've lost 42 lbs from eating fat-free and low fat when my gallbladder was still in my body. Â I'm sure I was only consuming 1000 calories a day. Â I'm almost a month out from my surgery and having a hard time figuring out what kind of food choices to make. Â I feel 100% better emotionally and mentally eating higher fat/protein....but I really don't enjoy eating a lot of meat. Â Lately I have noticed that I have been binge eating and those feelings scare me because I battled with extreme binge eating before I got sick with constant gallbladder attacks. Â I NEED a specific plan to follow or else I know I'm going to gain all the weight back plus some. Â I'm just not sure what to do. Â I could calorie count, but I find it a bit time consuming. Â I'm concerned that going low carb/carb restriction will push me back into depression and make my anxiety come back. Â
