Clomid cycle one

Hello everyone!:) Tomorrow will be my first time taking Clomid which is day 5 of my period.Just wanna find out when I have to take the pill? morning,afternoon or evening? and how? with water or food? please help.Thank you :)

Hi Ayla2010!  Good luck on the Clomid!!

I don"t think there are any set-in-stone rules about how/when to take the Clomid - it's more of a personal preference.  A lot of ladies take it at night in hopes that the side effects will occur while they are asleep.  I've heard about other ladies taking it in the morning because it interferes with their sleep.  As for with food or water, haven't heard much about that - I guess if it makes you feel nauseous, then take it with food. 

I'm in the midst of my second Clomid cycle (just finished the pills yesterday).  I take the Clomid around 8pm every night, usually with water, and without food.  I've noticed very minimal side effects, mostly just some serious moodiness.  I have heard that Clomid can dry up CM, but I've found that drinking extra water (I do around 100 ounces a day) seems to counteract that, for me at least.  Other women use Robitussin, or other remedies.  Some ladies don't notice any dryness at all.

Hey,Vaih:) Thank you:) I took my first pill of Clomid today in the morning at 10 am and now it is 1.am at night.I didnt have any side effects throughout the day at all:) I am so happy:) I hope I get BFP next month:)
