Kushiel's series

I'm almost finished with book 6 of the Kushiel's Dart series.... I LOVE them! Anyone else read these and loves them? I'm ready for a new series, hopefully something similar, any suggestions? FYI: Kushiel's books are historical fantasy/adventure/romance/sex.... good stuff!

I started out liking them, but by the time I got through the second, I decided not to continue reading the series.  They just seemed to drag a bit.

A somewhat similar series that I did like was the Black Jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop.  There are actually more than three books now I think
