Moving to Western MA and looking for community

My name is Natalie and my family and I will be moving to or near Hadley MA. I am a mother of three little women, I am queer, and in an open relationship with my partner of 131/2 yrs, and we are a radical unschooling family. We really have created our own lives outside of societal norms. And we work really hard at it.lol

We will be moving in the next couple of months and I really just want to find families that are open and non-judgmental. We have an almost 2 yr old, 4 1/2 yr old and 7 1/2 yr old. We are into co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding, respecting our children, sustainable living, growing our own food, living mindfully and awake with passion joy and authenticity. I would love if our kids can connect with other children and adults can connect and be real with one another. Looking for friendship and support and offering support because I truly believe it takes a village to raise a family but not just any village.

I am a childbirth educator facilitating Birthing From Within, Doula, LLL leader, and I co-organized free holistic clinic for people who can not afford holistic healing. Which I would love to do again when we move up north. (we are moving from Durham,NC)

I would love to connect with you. I live in Northampton (just over the bridge from Hadley) with my four sons (ages: 1, 4, and 8-year-old twins). We are looking to create exactly the kind of village you describe. I am also a LLL leader (are you going to hook up with our group? We'd love to have you!) and an IBCLC, though mostly I am home with my kids.

Hi Lex, thank you so much for responding. I was so excited to see it in my inbox..I am not sure when we will get up there. We have to wait for our house to sell. My partner George will be starting his job on Feb 28th. So we will be apart for a while. If we don't sell by April, we will be up there by May. I haven't been to group meetings in so long but I have done over the phone support to moms..I also am interested in toddler meetings. Maybe they will have something like that up there. I look forward to meeting you and your boys. I can't wait.
