Doll for boys

I've been lurking about the other threads with this title and one of the most recommended (on here) boy dolls is on sale on Amazon right now for 50% off.

I just figured I'd share, because I've been wanting to buy DS a doll but not wanting to spend $20 if he'd never play with it. KWIM So I jumped at this price!

I'm really hoping he likes it!

That is soo cute! If DS didn't already play with any of DD's hundreds of baby dolls, I'd buy it!

I'm so tempted to get it! My lo plays with a boy doll every month at LLL and I almost got him the one you linked for Christmas.

DS got that doll (the tan one with brown hair) for christmas. i paid $17. he doesn't play with it much, but he got an absurd amount of new toys in the last week. i have brought the doll in the car with us a couple times & he plays with the baby there - hugs him, talks to him. it is really sweet. he even fell asleep holding the baby's hand during a car trip.

Cute doll.  I got my DS a baby that cost less than $5 at Fred Meyer/Kroger.  I couldn't find any accessories for christmas that weren't all pink though.

That is so cute! My DS got a Groovy Boy doll for Christmas, but they're in the $20 range.

dakotablue, let us know if your DS likes the doll when he gets it!

I have seen more than a few little boys carrying dolls around the neighborhood and I think it's adorable!

That is a cute doll. I hope he likes it.

My DS doesn't like dolls :( In fact when we were going through his stuff before Christmas pretty much they only things he wanted gone was his dolls and his baby toys. Even his little organic cotton velor dolly I got him when I was pregnant and took to the hospital and tried to have him sleep with him etc he wanted gone :( I kept it for me in his memory box. I wish he liked dolls or stuffies but he doesn't so instead he carts around Thomas trains and cars.

Anyway let us know if your DS liked the doll.

I got my ds the baby stella boy doll (sam I think?) and he LOVES him!  It's so cute, he sleeps with him everynight, and kisses him, hugs him, tells me he's pooping "again", or "diaper is very wet.  needs new diaper"  LOL.  I love it.  I'm so glad I got it for him!

I hope he likes it too!

I wanted DS to have a little doll too, and got him one to take in the tub with him and help bathe but...yea, lol, no interest whatsoever. I shouldn't have been surprised - he's particular about stuffed animals even and has shown his affection only to a daddy fox and baby fox set we got from Ikea.

DS loves it!

He know its his baby doll (from first day  telling him go get your baby doll he knew what it was! )

He's almost 15 months so not much much play. Occasionally he'll drag is around with him, bring it into boxes with him (we have a thing about sitting in boxes)

Main things he does is take off its clothes and point to body parts and then point to mine (belly, nose, eyes, mouth) and dancing with it.

He does not play with it like my nieces play with dolls, but he is a boy. So its not getting ton of attention (his new truck gets more) but its getting enough attention that its totally worth getting.

Also, really well made. I really like.

ETA:  Today after I wrote this I put DS down for a nap, he picked up the doll started hugging and rocking it and patting its back! it was so so so cute!!!!
