Diva Cup stink issues (TMI)

I put my diva cup in yesterday morning and forgot about it until this morning!  I'm at the very end of my period so there wasn't much in it but it's pretty stinky now.  I tried washing it with soap and water and letting it air out a bit but there's still a pretty strong odour.  What can I do?

I boil mine with a little bit of bleach.

i would try vinegar

I would also recommend vinegar.

I struggled for a long time with odor in mine, and this was the only thing that ever helped. I tried boiling, bleach, and half a dozen other things. Soak it for a few hours in undiluted white vinegar, and then rinse it very carefully in water. I typically soak mine after each period, before storing it.

As the other PP said, vinegar. Works like a charm!

baking soda, sprinkle all over and in it and sprinkle some in the storage container.  never had an odor since I started doing this.  I think it's a pH issue.

Do any of you use the special Diva soap? If not what do you use?

I just use the soap in my bathroom (which is dye and fragrance free) also vegetable based

Dr. Bronners, diluted. I use it for everything.

yep Dr. Bronner's diluted here too.  Baby mild or lavender.
