DD was vaxed until 9 m/o...........then I finally had enough ahem "gonads" to stop. I do not want to vax her at all anymore, well I am considering the MMR just at 4 y/o. I was reading about it on Dr. Sear's website...

so what do you think? anyone done it? any info on reactions to it?

We got my son just the measles shot just before he turned 3.  No reactions.  (Of  course, now they don't split them up any more, so we're stuck with repeating the measles or skipping mumps and rubella entirely... sigh.)

Waiting until 4 or 5 sounds fine to me too.  We're waiting until at least 3 for our second son.

We did the same thing, single measles at 3.  No reactions.  He's 7.5 now and will likely get the full MMR in a few years.

DS just turned four and I'm planning on doing the MMR this year. It will be the only vaccine he gets this year. I'm not sure when we'll do it, but I will be sure to post with updates.

I waited until DS turned 4 to do his first MMR shot, and will do the 2nd on his 5th year visit this July.  I stopped vaxing him when he was 6 months, and have been delayed since then.  He had no reactions (other than being upset at getting a shot), and handled it in stride.  I felt better about waiting on the MMR - I wanted to wait until he was at least 3, but when we decided to homeschool for preschool I waited until he was 4.

Right now, the MMR is the only one I'm planning to get the boys for sure.  We will do it before puberty for sure, probably not as young as 4, but likely somewhere between 6 & 10.

My now 6 yr old had all the vaccinations until about then. Then we did none at 4. I know we have had one since, but I am unsure which one it is. But honestly, I would not do any at 4 anymore anyway. Despite the fact that we all (except the baby) got the DTP last year, I now think it is a waste. I think the MMR was a waste too. I suspect my 6 yr old has had both mmr and dtp, but I know he has had one of those.
