Kombucha scoby in WI?

I'm looking for a Kombucha scoby, if someone happens to have an extra one they wouldn't mind giving away to a good home ;)?  If you are close to Kaukauna, WI I could come pick it up, otherwise I'd pay shipping!  Thanks in advance :)

Could you explain what you're seeking?  Obviously I don't have any, but I'm curious!  I'm guessing it is a sort of starter for kombucha, although I don't know exactly what that is either - a fermented drink of some sort, right?  Is it alcoholic?  Thanks if you have a chance to answer!

It is actually super easy to make your own from a bottle of store-bought kombucha. 

I've done it several times, here's a link to thread that tells you how to do it.

FYI- kombucha is a fermented tea drink.  Yummy!

Thank you for the link.  Is is something that an alcoholic can safely drink, like miso or yogurt, or does the fermentation include the production of alcohol, do you know?  Off to check out the link!

Kombucha has very small amounts of alcohol in it, if any.  It can be found in the refrigerated case in most grocery stores, so it's not a product that has enough alcohol in it to cause concern.
