Beco Mini vs Ergo Doll Carrier

Does anyone have one of these for their LOs? What do you think of it? My DD has a doll sling (hates), and I'm planning on sewing her a mei tai when my machine gets fixed, but I want to get her one of these for her birthday in a couple of weeks. I can't find many reviews on them, so I thought I'd ask here. TIA!

I have the Ergo doll carrier. I'm not sure why they made it different from the actual ergo, but they did. Perhaps it was cheaper to make?

Consequently the design of it is rather dumb, but my DD loves it even though she is quite small for it (she is a super slender 18 month old). The straps won't stay up, but I think she'd rather they don't.

I'd give it 2 1/2 stars and a large "meh"

How is it different from the regular ergo? I emailed them and they said their newer version of the carrier now has a shoulder strap which should help keep the straps up. Thank you for the input. I appreciate it! :)
