I've done a few more projects (cuff bracelet, vinyl cut outs, etc) but I wasn't happy with the results so I won't count them. I'm still experimenting with different mediums to see what I like.

I got wrangled up into helping DS make 26 valentines for the swap on here... going to be a long weekend. I already have the envelopes addressed and the papers folded so they fit in the envelopes. I have the needed craft supplies out for DS. Hopefully all goes smoothly and we end up with 26 Valentines to mail on Monday. I am only using things from my massive craft supply stash for this project. Sadly but not surprisingly I found even more stickers. When this is done and in the mailbox I will count as one project!

I think I'm late to the party, but joining anyhow! I'm Cheryl, and I am a fabric and bead hoarder. I also hoard other things on a slightly smaller scale (yarn, embroidery thread, paints, pastels, clay etc). I am unsure of if I've ever met a craft I didn't like, so I try to not find new ones!!!
My projects may be 1/2 household projects, half crafting projects.... and I probably will buy a fair amount of new supplies, but I plan to only do projects I have at least 50% of the componants for crafting-wise :) My projects will likely be towards 3 ultimate goals: sustainability, making my home a haven for me, and as gifts.
My list off the top of my head:
1. 10 muslin bulk grocery item bags
2. "
3. 10 fabric gift bags
4. "
5. a buggy fabric toddler backpack for my little man who loves bags
6. a kleen kanteen cover for same little man (Noah)
7. a kleen kanteen cover for myself
8.-11. little man's birthday quilt, pillowcase and 2 throw pillows
12.-15. knit hat and scarf for my hubby, and a matching set for Noah
16. knit cell phone cover
17. hat for my sister
18. hat for my mother
19.-20. gloves and a hat for me
21.-25. wool veggies (tomatoes, green beans, carrots, eggplant, eggs, lemon etc)
26. I spy bag for Noah
27-29 matching winter set for Noah for next year: pants, hat, scarf

HI Cheryl, welcome to the party... we are all hoarders here (some dont like to admit I'm sure) but I know I could open my own mini craft supply store. I have way too much yarn, x-stitch stuff, paper crafting supplies , thankfully I dont own a sewing maching so I dont have a need for fabric but oh I want one sooooo badly LOL..
Anyway DS and I are working on those 26 valentines and sheezez kids are soooooooo slow. The great thing is we are using up stickers, foamies, chipboard stuff, YIPPIEE... each 'card' is truly uniquie and I feel such a sense of relief when another 'thing' is used up.
Welcome to the 'party' and keep us posted on your crafting... kudos to everyone who is making progress. My goal is to get those valentines mailed by Monday so the kids can enjoy them for some time!!!
I think I'm going to jump on in here. I won't make a to do list, that would be a project in itself! I'm sure I won't have any trouble coming up with things to make though. For someone who doesn't usually buy things without a purpose, I have quite the stash! I spent a ton of time today entering every last ball of yarn I have into ravelry. I have 69 different yarns stashed. My goal is for that number to go down, and not acquire more than I'm using. I have a good bit of fabric, and a ton of beads leftover from my teenage years. I love seeing the pictures of all that you're making, keep up the good work!
Oh! Just in case anyone here is interested, there is a craft swap open for sign ups in the swap forum right now (linkie: http://www.mothering.com/community/forum/thread/1290762/new-year-new-craft-reverse-swap-now-open)
We're swapping finished handmade goods, craft supplies you're looking to destash, and even some UFOs you've lost the love for! I always have tons of fun with them.

1. Desk assembled (Jan.)
2. Pink blanket (Jan.)
3. Completed hanging pictures (Jan.)
4. 26 valentines for DS swap (Jan.)
I am exceptionally proud to say that the valentines were completed with stock on hand and nothing other than postage stamps were puchased. Sadly they didnt make a dent in our construction paper but we did use up several sheets of stickers and almost an entire pack of envelopes!
On to my next project. ( and my son is begging me to learn to sew.. he has been shopping the fabric at Hobby Lobby... I so do NOT need another craft ugh)

Oh zebra, this is too cute!!! I think it's great that he embraces your craftiness and homemade, so many kids don't or haven't been exposed a life with homemade.

I haven't been doing any crafting lately.. Ive been sleeping a lot but I don't think that counts for much. I need to finish up a few things this week though:
stenciling the big sister/little brother shirts (My "due date" is in less than 2 week and they still aren't done eeks)- Need DH's help, Im using printer transfers and computers+me don't get along
Hair tie organizer for DD1 (for her birthday on Saturday)
birthday outfit for DD1 (also for her birthday on Saturday)
doll dresses/bloomers for the big sister gifts (want to get them done so I can load all the bags into the car so I don't have to worry about it)
carseat blanket for the baby (finally got the car seat so I can work on this)
skirt and nursing top for me
There are other projects but these are the "high priorities" right now.

Great work everyone! ![]()
I am so counting all this cookie prep as a completed projected once Saturday afternoon is over!!!!! That's when parents pick up cookies and the girls start selling. Six weeks of that. The prepwork has been more intense than I was expecting. Too many meetings and paperwork and emails, etc. Whew!

Well I finished the painting so now I am 6/52
and I made 2 ballet skirts so that is 7/52
and matching hats for my two youngest so that is 8/52
and I finished the other batch of crazy quilt blocks so that is 9/52.
What I am working on now is painting my sewing studio and arranging that and building a built in sewing desk. And finishing that darn skirt- I did put the zipper in it tonight though. So some progress is being made.
