Stop kicking me! Owww!

I’m 29W and often my baby’s kicking is kinda painful. Anyone else? Sometimes it’s just a bit uncomfortable (particularly if I’m already queasy or my stomach is upset), but it also often feels like a stretching sensation – like she’s trying to fully extend her legs & it just hurts at the bottom left and top right sides of my uterus. & occasionally it seems as if she’s tap-dancing on my cervix which is both painful & makes my blood run cold!

I remember kicking being sometimes irritating with DS, but never painful. I sometimes even feel guilty for being irritated at it & wanting it to stop. :(

Both my babies have been seriously painful kickers. Both have gotten better since they are starting to run out of room, now this baby gets its feet stuck under my ribs and they pop over and under my ribs all day which grosses me out a bit and hurts.

DS1 used to punch me in the cervix sometimes.  Devious little whistling.gif

I always tried not to have that "I wish he would stop doing that" reaction, just out of paranoia, but it hurt!

This baby seems to have days where she's really kicking/punching/stretching and it hurts, and other times when it doesn't.  On those bad days, when it feels like she's clawing at my cervix, I often wish it would stop.  I did ask the midwife if it was normal to hurt when she kicks / moves, even though I knew from my 1st pregnancy that it is, but I asked again just to be sure :)
