Waffle Maker

I am in the market for a waffle maker.  I have looked online and I've only found electric waffle makers with nonstick coating.  I've seen some cast iron ones (which are marketed for camping) that you cook over the stove (vs electric).  What do you use for your waffles?  Is the cast iron one difficult to use?  Any recommendations?

I use an antique griswold cast iron waffler made for the stove top. I have the one with the high base. I love mine, it's easy to use. The biggest problem is making sure not to overfill the iron LOL. Just make sure it's preheated before you put the batter in. I also grease it between waffles just to be safe and so they get nice and crispy.
