Cloth diapering car seat question

Thread Starter

I was just reading the thread on coats in car seats and I noticed several posters state that if you have to adjust the straps for the clothing the clothing is interfering with the car seat buckles.

I don't le my kids ride in their coats. I have a one year old and I cloth diaper using all different kinds of diapers some are trim and require no adjustment other are bulkier and I have to loosen and retighten the straps.

Is this dangerous? How do other mamas handle this?

From what I've read diapers are different because they are already compressed, meaning they won't squish further down under pressure like a puffy coat would.

think of it more as, if you have to adjust the straps check to see if something might be too bulky.

be it coat or diaper, being thick and being compressible are not the same.
