My DD hasn't had a fever since she was two. I can't remember what the safe range is. I don't want to do Tylenol if I don't have to, with the understanding that the fever is initiating an immune response. Much Thanks Ladies

I'm not sure what you mean by safe range. Do you mean how high can you "let" it go? There's really no evidence that a high fever does any damage at all, unless you're talking about levels of 106 or 107, which typically only happen with severe heat stroke and similar conditions. The only reason to lower fever is either to make the child more comfortable, or to lower the fever in order to get a clearer picture of the severity of the actual illness. Which are good reasons, but are nothing to do really with safety
