Alternative Treatments for Chicken Pox?

Okay, besides oatmeal baths and calamine, lay on me your good remedies for this itchy miserableness!!  DS7 has them in full effect, even in his mouth :(  He's in an oatmeal bath right now.  It's new Years Eve, so acupuncture places are closed.    any homeopathics that work particularly well?  Essential oils?  Other suggestions??

homeopathy is brilliant for chicken pox and there are several remedies that do a great job, you just need to match the symptoms.  Off the top of my head a few are: pulsatilla, rhus tox, ant crud, apis, varicellinum, merc sol, sulphur and sometimes belladonna.

Best of luck!  You can always contact a practitioner and see if they'll do a quick acute consult for you if homeopathy is the route you want to go.
