I think I need permission to toss some stuff!

A few years ago I had an addiction to ebay and bought "mystery auctions" and got some nice purses FULL of stuff from Bath and Body Works and other bath and body stuff. Now I have TONS of it. Over the years I've given a lot of it away to friends and former roommates and I tossed some it as well. I still have a lot and some it hasn't been opened yet even. I probably won't use it and it's probably gone off anyway by now. I don't know why I can't get rid of it. It's such a waste. Someone please tell me get rid of it.

Get rid of it.  It couldn't very good now anyway.  Why use icky old lotions and stuff.  I think sometime we hang onto things just because we paid good money for it.  Free yourself of all that old stuff.

A homeless shelter would be happy to take that off your hands and it would be used. But don't put off getting rid of it. If you can't donate it somwhere in less than a week, toss it.

A lot of it is fancy stuff that I don't think a homeless shelter would really use, like body scrub and a face mask and stuff like that and it's all old. Like really old! I did just toss some mostly used body scrub and if I still have the body butter it goes with, that will be tossed as well. Seriously, it's like 5 years old at least! As soon as my son allows me to get up from the couch I'll look in the drawer of scary bathroom stuff and see what else can go. I have a really cool coffee body scrub that I've wanted to try for a long time, but I never did and I don't know why. Then I became pregnant and was to sacred to try it b/c I thought it was to old and would hurt the baby somehow. That should go too.

I'm having the same issue! My sister lives in Las Vegas and likes to shop at Nieman Marcus. She always gets samples of all kinds of perfumes and lotions when she buys stuff from the Clinique counter, so she always gives them to me as part of birthday or Christmas gifts. I don't even know how many little vials of perfume I have, but it's a lot and I don't even know what most of them smell like. I should just toss them since they're old and I'm obviously not using them, but some of them are samples of really expensive perfume that I probably wouldn't even be able to buy here (I'm in South Dakota). I think we both need to bite the bullet here. I'll toss mine if you toss yours?

A domestic violence shelter would appreciate it very much.

However, if you can't get it out of your house in a week, just throw it in the trash!  It's holding you down, let it go and be free!

I had a ton of samples from stores like L'occitane and origins, and I put them on craigslist and they were gone within a day. Some people really use this stuff. Now anything obviously old I would toss.

Ok I did it! Most of the stuff is in the garbage right now! I tossed 2 lipsticks that I don't even think I used. Someone got them as a free gift and gave them to me. I love lipstick... to look at and to smell. I don't like to wear it though. I also put a couple nice things in a little bag that I'll ask my milk babies mother if she'd like, her husband is coming tomorrow for a pick up so I cans end it home with him.

LOL! I'm the same way with lipstick. I think I used a total of 1/2 a tube over my whole life. I love buying it though.

Donate if it's still good, toss otherwise! No point in holding on to something that you won't/ aren't using!

Nursing homes are another place to try. It's always nice to give them something special, that they wouldn't normally get. : )  Thank you for being so generous.

I donate my breast milk and I call the babies that I donate to my "milk babies". I didn't come up with it, but I heard one of the fathers use it and I really liked it and thought it was cute. I think a lot of milky mamas, like me use the term as well.
