Doctor referals pls!

Hi everyone!  My DH and I have been TTC on our own for a year now and realize that we need to take the next step in our journey of TTC. I've recently left my last doctor b/c I felt she take our concerns seriously, so here I am asking anyone willing to help for any referals in my area.  I currently live in MERCER COUNTY/CENTRAL NEW JERSEY and would be willing to travel into NY or PA for the right doctor (fertility specialist/OBGYN) who specializes in infertility and high risk patients.  I also posted on the TTC board yesterday so I'm trying to cover all bases, lol.  As always, any and all help will be greatly appreciated!  As you well know, my DH and I are scared and frankly, we are basically starting at zero and despite our well meaning family and friends, we are truely facing this journey alone. I really hope someone out there can give us a great referal, especially one who takes our insurance(ATNEA). Thanks in advance and I hope that the coming year will bring us all our BFP!

Hi, sorry for your strugglings....

I can reco the doctors at Center for Womens Reproductive Health at Columbia in NYC... they are top of the line. BUT I think if you were in NJ, coming in for the blood draws and other diagnostic tests all through the month would be crazy-making. Time better spent in the sack...

Are there any local list serves for parents in your area? They freqently have reco's  of doctors, etc. Try starting with Montclair area - the Manhattan of Jersey :)  Perhaps there is a montclair mom's group or something you can tap into for info....

Thanks for the info! I'm used to live in NYC and still have family there, so I'm open to going there if I can't find what I need in CNJ. I'm sure you can relate, but I'm willing to do whatever I can to have a baby!  Have a great New Year and many blessings to you and your family!
