scraps of cloth - what to do, how? HELP!

I visited a tailor and got a bag full of cloth leftovers - some are almost square, around 1ft x 1 ft, some are a few inches wide and several feet long, most are irregular shapes and sizes.   Gorgeous colors and patterns.  It is fun to just spread them out and look at all of them ... any idea what I can do with them?  I was thinking of making hair scrunchies with some of the long pieces, but I'd also like some more creative ideas ... maybe I can cut them up into triangles, stitch them together and make a shirt or something?  

Am also thinking of making doll clothes and doll blankets.

Anyone know how to make greeting cards that include cloth in the design?  

Hoping for some creative as well as crazy suggestions.
