big bump in back of head, is this normal?

didnt notice until today because we've kept the same hat on him. I finally took it off to wash and kept him hatless for a little while and noticed this big bump in the back of his head. He's 1 month old and had a pretty big cone head, vaginal birth and he was big, for me 8.2 and i have  a small frame 5 ft about 100 lbs normally...

it's scull not fluid or anything, it doesnt hurt him when I push on it and he is developing normally, eyes normal, pupils normal, making eye contact now, moving hands somewhat with purpose, turning head towards sounds etc.

midwife comes for our 6 weekish check up next week so ill have her look at it

we had a homebirth and we havent seen a dr yet, just our midwife who did a very detailed baby check over

wondering if anyone has experience with this and if it's normal?

My DD#2 had a bump on the back of her head. I never felt it, but my pediatrician mentioned it at her 4 month appointment. She said that it was a lymph node and totally normal. Ask your midwife about it, but you may think about taking him for a pediatrician check up just to make sure everything is OK.
