Destashing ideas?

I've been cleaning out my basement and have found a few boxes full of fabric, mostly flannel and stretch velvet, from when I was making diapers for DD. I'm wondering what I can do to destash this type of fabric...What creative things have you done to destash? Have you ever exchanged your fabric against someone else's?

I regularly participate on craft websites where there are all sorts of destashing swaps occurring -- from "fill-a-box" swaps to swaps where you "sell" your items for points to use for other crafted items or supplies.  I've also put ads on our local craigslist, freecycle, and attended meetups.  Having crafty friends, too, can also help. :)

I cleaned out a ton, and took it to the school. They regularly use fabrics for projects. I didn't need more, so I was glad to destash this way.

Really all I did was give some away to make room for more.
