my 7 month weighs 22 lbs. his schedule is

8 a.m. 6 oz. bottle

9 a.m. cereal w/ 1/2 fruit

11 a.m. 6 oz. bottle

Noon  1/2 veggie & 1/2 fruit

2 p.m.  6 oz. bottle

5 p.m.  6 oz. bottle

6 p.m.  Dinner: 1/2 meat w/ 1/2 fruit or veggie

8 p.m.  6 oz. bottle then bedtime for the night until 7-8 a.m.

What does everyone think about this schedule? Thanks Nicole

Isn't 12 hours an awfully long time to go without eating for a 7month old? Remember, his stomach is only as big as his hands put together. That itty-bitty amount of food's going to be digested pretty quickly.

He is a good sleeper and gets 30 oz. of formula a day and eats three meals a day and weighs 22 lbs. His pediatrician thinks that is great that he sleeps through the night. he sometimes wakes up to get a diaper change and falls back to sleep.

Well, you seem happy with it, so what's the problem?

Just wanted to know what everyone else thinks about it, is 12 hours to long for a 7 month old to go without eating even if he is eating three meals a day and consuming 30 oz. of formula a day.

I would love some STTN action around here. Last night DD nursed at 10:45, 1, 3-4 essentially, and was up for the day when she nursed at 6. If you are happy with your schedule and he's healthy, you are lucky!

We have no solids to speak of here yet... happy with that...

She seems to top off at about 4 ounces... hard to tell. she nurses 10 or more times a day still at 7 months and 15 pounds.
