I have a friend who said he wanted to try some of my placenta. I thought he was joking at first so I asked him if he wanted a placenta smoothie or placenta jerky and he chose jerky. Well, it turns out he's serious.

So, I told him I would try to do it. I figure, why not? Just make a tiny bit for him and do the rest as originally planned (encapsulation and/or bury). So, does anyone have any recipes for placenta jerky? I know I've heard about it being made before. I don't have a food dehydrator, though, so I would need an oven recipe.
